Me and my husband wanted to have this special day for ourselves, me, him and Copenhagen. And as soon as I am a photographer myself, it was also super important for me to have beautiful professional pictures to memorize those  precious moments.

Monica's portfolio right away attracted my attention with those colours and emotions she captures in her work. I contacted her as first but unfortunately she was already booked that day...

And then happened unpredictable event - coronavirus quarantine. We needed to postpone our wedding day over and over again until Denmark finally announced opening borders. Hurray! I contacted Monica again and she friendly replayed that she will be happy to be our photographer. ️

We spent a great time together on our wedding day! She dived in her work right away as soon as she met us in front of the City Hall, she didn't want to waste a moment. We weren't posing, we were just having fun walking through the city and talking like old friends. :) 

And as a result we got a bunch of gorgeous highly professional pictures in two formats (for printing and web size) which is very convenient. We are both happy that we chose Monica as our wedding photographer and we love our pictures.

Our wedding ment to be a private one, just the two of us. Then we found Monica and we were three. After a skype-call, where we threw our ideas together, we met on our wedding day at Copenhagen City Hall. We felt like meeting a friend. Our experience with Monica in one word was... fun! From the first communication exchange to getting our photos, we were so impressed with the entire process. Not being from Copenhagen, we sent out a handful of quote requests to different photographers and her reply back was so personal and detailed compared to others that it was an easy decision to chose her! We were so lucky to have picked Monica as our wedding photographer. We had an idea of what kind of photos we wanted. Monica was keen for us to share these ideas with her: first over email; and then during a walk in Copenhagen, where she took the time to guide us through central neighbourhoods and parks for the photoshoot.   

On the wedding day itself, Monica captured the natural moments between us not only during the ceremony but also during our walk through Copenhagen afterwards. When we agreed to get married in Copenhagen, I knew I wanted an awesome photographer. I studied photography in college, and photos are very important to me. During our wedding day, it was so special to have Monica, because she felt like a friend. We didn't have our families and friends with us, but Monica made us feel comfortable. We also are thinking about doing another photo shoot for our 10 year anniversary. As we walked all over Copenhagen taking photos, Monica told us so much about the city and the people. We found Monica on a photography website. We really liked her photos because they looked very natural, relaxed and professional. During the wedding we understood why. She blends in very well and captures the key moments of the event, the details of the decorations, but also all our guests. She understood us and gave us good ideas on what to do during the photo session, when we were nervous and lacking creativity. 
During the wedding she was everywhere, documenting everything and very friendly to everyone. We found out that she even helped the brother and sister of the groom with a surprise, putting time into translating a speech for them into Romanian, before the event.
We are very happy we met her. She is so easy to talk to. Everyone loved her at the wedding and felt relaxed around her.

We wanted to be to together as soon as possible so we have decided to go to Denmark to get married and from all the cities we have chosen Copenhagen. We have applied in the middle of July and were expecting to have a date by the end of August but we got almost right away!!! As we have started preparing for the wedding day a few month before the estimated date, everything was ready except the photographer. So we uave started to look for one and we have found 3 options. Monica was the first to reply and seemed to be very responsible so we were not hesitating much and have chosen her. A few days after we had a skype call with her. She has asked what we wanted and we have found right away common language. 
When the wedding day came it was raining hard and we had to change the conception of the photoshoot. And Monica did it well- she has used each piece of the Copenhagen city hall inside, she was playing with the lights, stairs, backgrounds and rain drops, - as a result we got unforgettable memories of the wedding day and amazing pictures which the whole family has hanged on the walls and is showing to everybody!!!

We have worked with Monica for our wedding shots in July 2017 and clicked with her as of the first moment we have met her.

She has been kind and nice and didn’t refrain from running around and giving us the perfect and comfortable setting for our special day. Wedding days can be hectic and stressful but Monica was great with handling the chaos, the crowd and the limited time.

Also, our pictures turned out to be great and it is obvious that Monica really worked hard to give us a nice package of our memories from the day. The package  included intimate couple moments as well as happy family & friends gathering moments, carefully selected by her. She has a great eye for this! On another note, she sent us a couple of previews just a couple of days after the wedding even though she was booked with appointments and was leaving for vacation. It was very nice of her to think that we might be happy to see a couple of pictures beforehand.

Before our wedding ceremony, we looking for a few photographers and their work, made several different inquiries by e-mail. Someone was busy, someone did not answer at all, while Monica's response was fairly prompt, understandable and kind, in the first letter the answers to most questions were answered. Then for a couple of weeks our video conversation on Skype took place to clarify our wishes. It was very important for us to have a beautiful photo session on the day of the wedding ceremony and Monica did an excellent job of it. Time that day flew like one instant. We were a little tired from an exciting day, but were very pleased. Quite quickly we got the first 5 pictures (teaser), and after the promised time and all the other photos. We selected a few photographers based on their online portfolio before we contacted them. Monica stood out from the rest due to her artistic merit.
After our first meeting with Monica, we both agreed she should be our photographer.  We wanted to film on a boat in the beautiful canals of Copenhagen.  Monica had never done this, but she was all up for it.

On the day of our wedding Monica was there on time, and was there with us throughout the process, she was very patient, had lots of cool ideas and kept to the plan.  She had a good eye for the right spots and she got along with all our guests taking amazing shots.

The day was absolutely sunny, but just after our wedding party it rained, and while we hid in an arch, Monica hailed cabs for us.

The whole process was pain free, reliable and most of all the photographs were fantastic. Monica's artistic ability is clearly evident from her pictures, but to us another thing that was far more important is Monica is an fantastic beautiful person in all aspects.  We never had to worry about the photographs as we just could feel the connection with Monica.

I couldn't have chosen someone better than Monica to shoot our wedding. She was really kind and objective, sending great details about the photo packages, so I didn't have any doubt about it, her service is in an excellent price also and overall she is such a talented photographer. The day before our wedding ceremony we've met to know the locations and I fell in love for her even more. She is calm, great sense of humor, know exactly what she does and really gave us confidence and a sensation that we're in good hands.

On the ceremony day, she arrived in the hotel early and her presence was almost invisible. She doesn't distract you on your day and she has great initiave to help you out with poses or whatever you need in the photo session. What made me really chose her for our day, is the great look she has through the photography. She has a beautiful way to see the couple, she doesn't have tacky ideas, she is really tasteful and I knew we would have great photos. 

She warned us about how long it would take to send us the photos, but didn't take long from what she promised and we were definitely overwhelmed with the result. I'd highly recommend her for anybody looking for a tasteful photographer and a pleasant person on a special occasion.

We had the pleasure of working with Monica on two seperate occassions: our wedding day in 2015 and just before our baby-boy was born in 2016 (1 year after the wedding :)

Monica was recommended to us by our first choice fotographer, who is a friend of the family - but unable to take the wedding shoot herself. Turned out Monica was a very nice person and qualified option - one we have not regretted.

She is very pleasant to be around - a thing we valued much, considering she was invited inside on 2 very special occassions. She blended in very well and did her work alomost unnoticed, it helped us being present in the moment, not considering how we'd look on the photo's. She brought creative proposals to the table and mastered turning our ideas into great shots. And we had fun with her along the way!

The final products were very good, from theme, atmosphere and photo quality point of view - and we found her compensation to be very reasonable. I think actually we got a lot more photo's than agreed.

We can warmly recommend Monica for shoots like these, and we surely will consider her ourselves when the next occasion arrives.
